Emanuel Rose, author of Wenaha Henry, describes the inspiration for the children’s book series about nature.
I created Wanaha Henry for my grandson who’s named henry and the idea was to have some messages and impart wisdom and and the values that are important to me around high, highly powerful ethics, how to make decisions, paying attention to nature, watching natural cycles and leaving the world a better place than we find it.
So that that was my the impetus and it started out as a simple hobby and in a fun way to connect with him with a special gift and over time it got good enough and the stories were good enough and the topics were good enough that I decided to to dive in and develop these as as full children’s books that were available to other families and being on the west coast.
Forest fire is a big deal and can be a scary thing for the kids and and so I wanted to connect forest fire as um there’s also a natural part of the cycles of nature and then also give the family and the kids an activity to do so they could feel empowered and that’s what the seed packet from the jonsteen company is intended to do and I appreciate you taking time to look at henry seeds to a tree and hopefully your family will enjoy it as much as we have and let me know what you think in the comments below.
